Regarding Juju Road....nothing happens out there. Stories have evolved out of people's fears. Been there, done that.

I've got one that not many people know about, down off Clyde fant by the apartments in wright island there is a run down glass factory, not visable from the street. All thats left is a very rundown factory building and a huge brick tower. Its rumored that the factory was closed after the child labor laws were passed and several children lost there hands and one teenage girl was pulled into a machine by her hair. Then the field by the factory became a meeting place for homeless men and some sort of pagan rituals were commonplace until some trees were cleared away. I've been there a few times and it is extremely creepy. A few minutes at the tower and then a walk in the woods behind it. Be carefull not to get caught So this is close to The Smokestack then right?

Ab JuJu Rd: The road is right behind my neighborhood. It used to be an all gravel road with trees all along side the road. Everyone said there used to be KKK meetings out there. I also read somewhere that it got its name bc someone was hung on one of the trees during the slave era. The mans name was supposdly Montgomery Juju or something like that. I cant find where I read that at anymore. Also there was supposdly a woman in a white dress that could be seen on the old bridge. I used to go on that road all the time. One Halloween me and some friends went out there and saw floating fire. Believe me or not I dont care, I know what I saw. The road is now part of Swan Lake Rd. They have paved and cut almost all the trees down. They even re-routed the road. You can still see part of the old road but its fenced off.

You kids and your crazy stories of ghost and what not. Im from Tallahassee Fl and I moved to this dump about 2 years ago. I've heard many off the wall stories of that stupid school(none of which I believe.) I've been wanting to go but I can never find anyone dumb enough to waste their gas to take me and theres noway Im driving my car out there. I have been to the prison before however. Nothing exciting happened really. The scariest thing I saw there were huge spiders in the trees and a frog that scared the piss out of me hopping through the leaves in the darkness. I want to believe there are ghost.... I really do, but I have yet to exprience anything "supernatural." Maybe oneday...
And sorry if you find any spelling errors.

"supernatural" is things dealing with jesus/god/religious bull sh*t. "Paranormal" is what you're looking for. Anyways, you're completely right...there is absolutely nothing within northwest that is actually haunted and things actually happen at. I've been to the pea farm so many d**n times with a night shot video camera, still camera, and a digital voice recorder trying to find ANY evidence of the paranormal and have found nothing. Haven't been inside ellerbe because I don't wanna be arrested/shot at, and neither do I want to spend the gas to get out to that bumf**k location. ALL these stories I read on this board and on other websites about people seeing nuts like flames coming out of Ellerbe and the bells ringing in it are just plain horse sh*t. Amazing how no one is ever able to document these things even in this age of everyone and their mother having a camera phone on them. If anyone wants to see my walkthrough of the Pea Farm during the day with my old camera (going to redo it with my new camcorder soon) check out my video - part 1 - www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXU_7WxYOz8part 2 - www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8nh175Dd5EAnybody that has any other helpful paranormal equipment such as EMF detectors and whatnot and want to hit the Pea Farm for a joint SCIENTIFIC investigation, let me know. No religious/witches/satanic people. I have no time for your superstitious bullsh*t. I really hope to find something out there, the place obviously has a history and its gotta be out there in those woods, just need to find it.

The "pea farm" is actually Bossier Parish Max Security now. As for the "lost city" near Vivian, my dad has been there. We have a lake house on a private lake off of Caddo Lake and him and his friends found it when he was in high school. He said they used it to trade slaves back in the day. Also, they found a really old graveyard somewhere out there with indian graves and pioneers.

Ellerby is a waste of time to visit unless your curiousity just has to see it. ive been out there once in the day time and 4 times at night. twice by myself and once with only a zippo liter bc i dropped my flashlight as i got out the truck and it quit working... it was one of those dollar 50 flood lights from walmart. The stale air, rural location, and darkness give it a spooky effect. I have never seen anything or heard anything. And for those wanting to look into the old water tower to see how you are going to die is a waste of time. nothing to see up here but does give u a good view of the surrounding area. Oil rigs at the present time are everywhere out ther. 3 or 4 within 2 sqare miles of the school. they got so many lights on them and r so loud that they ruin the spooky feeling. i have yet to explore the pea farm, old motel, chainsaw masacre house, the old glass factorty, and the haunted woods near wallace lake. does anyone know the story about sally baker? supposibly she was a witch out in cotten valley and killed 7 people. were is her house and grave located?

ABOUT A YEAR AGO, ME AND MY SISTER WENT TO THE OLD MOTEL. OR RATHER, WHAT USED TO BE A MOTEL. THERE ARENT EVEN ANY WALLS UP AS THE OTHER ACCOUNTS MENTIONED. JUST THE FOUNDATION, AND SOME PIPES STICKING OUT OF IT. YOU CAN SORT OF MAKE OUT WHERE THE OFFICE AND THE POOL WAS, IT WAS A PRETTY SMALL PLACE THOUGH. THERE IS A TRAIL THAT LEADS BACK INTO THE WOODS THAT IVE HEARD STORIES ABOUT, I DONT KNOW WHAT WAS THERE IF ANYTHING EVER WAS... WE WANDERED AROUND BACK THERE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR OR SO, HOPING TO SEE SOMETHING...... WHICH WE DIDNT. ITS RIGHT OFF S LAKESHORE BEFORE YOU PASS UNDER THE BRIDGE ON THE LEFT. WE WENT RIGHT AT SUNSET. YOU PROB HAVE TO GET OUT AND WALK AROUND TO SEE IT, YOU WONT BE ABLE TO FROM THE ROAD IN YOUR CAR. WALK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD OPPOSITE THE LAKE AND YOU'LL SEE IT. LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE SEES ANYTHING COOL.

hello i moved here to elysian fields texas just over a year ago from long beach CA. my wife grew up in bossier, wich is what brought me out 1650 miles into nowhere
but i have actually been checking this site regularly for over a year.i work in bossier so sometimes i take a small detour on my way home and look for stuff like the chainsaw massacre house and stuff. i've been past the pea farm but like it's been said you can't see anything from the road.
i was actually wondering if anyone knows of any haunts myths legends of my area marshall panola waskom.
one of the things i do love about living here is all the history and how much is still standing my house alone is around 100 years old. been worked over though we did a little remodeling when we moved in and were amazed by the old construction. there was a small barn/store in the yard that was a livery stable and general store for the railroad that ran through here in the early 1900's. but we burned it down last year it was a hazard for my kids and pets. i'm surrounded by old shot gun homes and beautiful houses that are over a hundred years old some still have old furniture and stuff old elysian fields cemetery is pretty cool
one thing i have been trying to get info on is the sam houston school in marshall it's on houston st between hwy 59 and the old courthouse if anyone has info on it, it's neater looking than the ellerby wonder years school.
i know it's a thread on shreveport bossier i just wanted to ask you all thank you

Joe,
Haven't heard too much on the Sam Houston school, although now I'd really like to see it. I've been to Danville Cemetery, which is close to Kilgore, which is said to be haunted. The Scottsville Cemetery was also mentioned in another post on this board, which has a rather interesting weeping angel statue, which I have yet to check out

i know where the jail is and the mysterious and hard to find women's facility is!!! goin there this week again... i have captured many orbs in the main facility and 1 EVP in the women's facility.... the prison is on bert kouns all the way down to the GE plant... as you pass by the plant you'll find a fenced in area...there is a part of the fence missing and you follow the dirt/mud path in then left to get to the main facility...the woman's facility is located behind the main part about 60 yards and through the bamboo..... i have spoken to the security gaurd who has worked there for a very long time and he couldnt confirm any remains being dug up.....said it was a myth. but terrible things did happen and i did capture evp at nighttime only...we have had occasions where our flashlights with new batteries in them died suddenly and did not turn back on untill we left the room we were in....verry spooky but great activity... good luck, happy hunting
