the lost city in vivian......go north on highway 1 just outside of vivian there will be a road to the left leading toward mcleod, tx. take it. go down to the first intersection take a right. go to i think its called something gas road 2 its the second road to the left. take it. there should be an old gate nocked down on the left like 100 yards when u turn onto that road. drove over the nocked down gate on the dirt road and u will see it after some curves.

Me and 3 friends (were all female) and it was cheesy. No ghosts, no nothing... EXCEPT easter eggs that someone hid. They welded the basement door shut which sucked. Couldnt find the womens jail. It was really lame.. If you havent been and want to go, pull your truck (yes, use a truck) into the dirt path behind the fence. take the trail to the left and follow the path till you get to the 4way. go left at the 4way and it takes you right to it. its like a 10 minute walk. wear rubber boots. all the grafiti takes away from the atmosphere. it may have been cool when it was virgin erritory. somehow black spray paint reading , "weare watching you" doesnt seem to scare me, i dont think ghosts can push the button on the can. casket269@aol.com

I have tried to look up history on exactly what happened at the Ellerbe Rd School. Can't seem to find anything proven or factual about its history. Any suggestions?

The prison is called The Pea Farm, not CCI. CCI is out in Spring Ridge. The prison was closed in the 60s and no one was drowned in the basement, lol. The Ellerbe school was a black school called George Washington Carver and it closed because the towns of Gayle and Caspiana dried up and there weren't enough kids left to go to it. No one ever vanished or burned or anything else. After years of sitting there empty nature is reclaiming it. There are things that happen out there but it doesn't have anything to do with any janitors or kids. Oh yeah, if you keep driving past the PEA FARM JAIL on 70th there is a road cutting through the pine thicket that people made after GE put the fence up that leads back to the jail building. When I was in school we used to go there and climb up on the water tower and also go in the warden's house and the guard houses too. There was no fence then and all you had to do was walk right in. THIS WAS IN THE MID 70s. I remember when the Ellerbe school was still open too. Ellerbe Road was a short cut from Shreveport down to Highway 1 south. There was no big fancy neighborhoods then, just Holy Angels, Dalton Wood's house, R.W.Norton's house, a goat farm, and Wallace Lake Dam. Where Norris Ferry Road cuts off to the right there was a huge oak tree. Some boys were going over a hundred miles per hour one afternoon in a 63 Impala and hit the tree head on. They took what was left of the car up to a wrecking yard on the old Mansfield Road. Every one from all over town went up there to see the car. I remember there were brains on the seat and some man took a piece of something and pushed them down out of sight. The motor was found over 150 feet from the car in a field across the road. Needless to say, what was left of the boys was scooped up in bags and took to the funeral home. That entire area out there is cursed. If you go to Wallace Lake Dam, park and walk over the bridge, straight up the hill to the woods, there was once a boy scout camp. Not many people know about this place. There were cabins up there but I bet they're gone now. Those woods are very haunted. There are Indian mounds all in those woods and their spirits are not at rest. They were slaughtered by the thousands at the south end of Wallace Lake. It's a place where you can feel their eyes on you. It's not a good place.

I've got one that not many people know about, down off Clyde fant by the apartments in wright island there is a run down glass factory, not visable from the street. All thats left is a very rundown factory building and a huge brick tower. Its rumored that the factory was closed after the child labor laws were passed and several children lost there hands and one teenage girl was pulled into a machine by her hair. Then the field by the factory became a meeting place for homeless men and some sort of pagan rituals were commonplace until some trees were cleared away. I've been there a few times and it is extremely creepy. A few minutes at the tower and then a walk in the woods behind it. Be carefull not to get caught
