Hello i live in Elysian Fields and i have been to Stage Coach Rd about 9 times... lol. Its really creepy... there is a bridge that you stop and park on. when you get on it take your keys and put them on your car and run around your car 5 times saying "troll troll troll" over and over again. when you make it the last time around your keys will be gone. then you run the other way 5 times around the car yelling the same thing again and your keys wil be back!!! I watched my friend do it and it worked!!
Also there are a couple of churches that have been burned down and it is said that some of those churches are satanic!! in order to find out you kinda have to break in...(no big deal).
It is also said that when you finnaly get done driving down the road there will be hand prints all over the outside of your car!!! its happened to me!! one time me and my two friends went and we just stopped and parked and turned off our lights. When we turned them back on there was i big hand print on the outside of my windshield. all of us had stayed in the car so we still dont exactly know what did it!!!

Ok, my friend's baton twirling teacher lives in the Logan Mansion. She had her birthday party there and I was invited. she showed us the attic, where she holds the baton classes. By the big window, they had stuff set up, like what would be a little girl's room. there was a bed with a nightgown across it, a chair witha doll in it, and a little table with the doll's brush and one of those old wooden fishing games with the stick and magnet. Some of the other girls were sitting on the bed, and things like that, but I couldn't. I just didn't want to. That night, I had a dream. There was a little girl, mabye six years old. She was wearing the night gown and rocking back and forth in the chair in front of the window brushing the doll's hair. She stopped, and looked at me. She smiled, a sad, now-you-know smile. That morning, I did some research about the mansion. Sure enough, there was a woman with a young daughter. The woman was a teacher and was staying in the mansion's attic a long time ago. When there was a teacher in the winter and one in the summer, when there was one room schools. Supposedly the girl fell out the window and died. Now her spirit is there. This freaked me out a lot, and the peices were coming together. All this is true. I promise. I just thought I should share that with you.

Does anybody remember an old run down hotel that was out by Cross Lake? We went there a few times when I was a teenager an I forgot one more haunted site - the old haunted motel on cross lake - its also a good one....rumor has it that some murders happened here back in the 70's like norman bates in Psyco, the motel lost popularity and never recovered from the devistation. here are the directions to the motel take I-20 to interstate 2-20 head north toward cross lake and get off on Lakeshore dr. exit turn right and head toward the Nantucket appartments after passing the appartments make a left onto S Lakeshore Dr. then start looking to your left for a road leading up to a old abandoned motel if you start heading into some extravagant appartments and ritsy neighborhood you went too far - turn around and start looking to the right. - heebie jeebies psyco style - enjoy! d partied but I can't remember exactly where it was. This place was very old when we went there and that was 20 years ago. Talk about one spooky place at night and then some said that the devil worshippers hung out there on certain nights. I dont know if it was haunted or anything like that but I bet it would be scary as hell still if a person were to go there at night. It was three buildings that were falling apart and one of the times we went out there some people had a fire going in one of the main rooms which worked out well because the roof had already caved in. It was somewhere on south lakeshore drive right across from the lake but it was hard to find then because it was just a dirt road that you had to drive on. Anyways, I was just wondering if there was anybody else that knows about that place and could help me remember where it was. It would be nice to take my kids out there for a good scare:)

As for the old unpaved section of swan lake road: (which I believe is on private property now not sure but it is not the same as the current paved section) my father and his friends used to go down there when they were in high school (late 70's I forgot his graduation year) but the only thing that sneaked up on them was a sheriff's department cruiser with its lights off. Much scarier than a ghost at the time.

One time a group of friends & I went out to the jail [by Water Town] & it just so happened there was another group of people there that same night. We saw their flashlights & we were scared as hell... not knowing if they were like satanic people or something. They were young like us, just looking for thrills. We ending up all going in together & sticking together. Nothing happened. =)

Dude, i used to live 2 blocks from whitches tower, a friend and i went there every single day last summer, there's an awesom biking terrain, one time we went we decided to check out inside the freakin tower and we saw a couple of snakes on the bones of what seemed like a freaking dog or dog shaped... it was freaky as hell, then they just shot out at us like kra-z and we started running like idiots out of there

Well I went to the ellerbe road school! It wasn't That scary but we went at 3:00. So it was really dark! You doo here the kids laughing and screaming! If you do go there where tennishoes not high heels! Because you will run! Also Bring a flash light! And i hope you can climb fences! Also there is cops in front of the place! so make sure they can't see your light! if they see it you are caught! Park like a mile away from the place dont park right in front of the gate! The gym is very dark! in the autoriam when i shined the light foward i saw a body hanging upside down! Just becarefull! and dont scream! But anyway i went with 1 of my friends and we decited to go different ways. It was 9:55 and we said we will meet up at 10 o'clock!, I was so scared! Then i heard a scream. I though it was one of the children. then i heard another saying help I'am by room 101! So i ran and when i went to room 101 i called her name! then i said come on this isn't funny! Then i said ok i leaving! She never came out! I ran to my car! And raced home I told everyone and the cops! every since no sign! I was crying! I go every night just too look for her! Remember never go alone!

First off, I would like to say that you people are a testament to how bad the Louisiana school system is. Seriously, the spelling on this thread gives me a headache. That said, Ellerbe is pretty boring. It's worth seeing if it's your first abandoned place to explore, but that's about it. The prison is a little better, espescially if you're into photography. You can stay out there all day and night without fear of being interrupted as long as you park in a smart place. The mindless grafitti takes away from the creepy vibe, however. The Rodessa school is somewhat badass. It suffers from almost no vandalism, and the graveyard is literally 20 feet away from the gym. I don't know if this is a known fact or not, but the Rodessa school is actually owned by the Sheriff in that area now. I've had two people confirm this for me. While I was out there checking out the back of the school, one of the neighbors saw me and let his two pit bulls out to chase me. I don't know if that was the actual Sheriff or not. Alot of the second floor suffers from water damage, so be careful not to fall through the roof. One that hasn't been mentioned is the Rocky Mount School. It's closer than Rodessa, and has way easier access. Lots of bats hang out there, too! I've got pics of all of these places and some others on my Flickr page for anyone interested. www.flickr.com/liquorhead
